Joel Hawkins  is the President of the Meter Stamp Society as well as it's Auction Manager. He is co-author of "The United States Postage Meter Stamp Catalog" and has written other meter stamp-related books, including "The US Official Mail Meter Stamp Catalog", "Package Delivery Service, A Catalog of United Parcel Service (UPS) and Other Package Delivery Service Parcel Register Indicia", and "State and Local Official Mail / Official Business Slogan Meter Stamp Catalog".

Mr. Hawkins has also exhibited meter stamps at National Stamp Shows and won several awards, including the Meter Stamp Society GRAND Gold Award, GOLD Awards, and the coveted APS Research awards.

He is currently writing "Worldwide Postage Meter Stamp Essays", due for publication in 2008.
